The Man Behind the Mission...
Wassup y’all I’m Malcolm Johnson Jr., a former athlete , but more importantly, a man on a mission to restore something we’ve lost.
I created Start A Conversation (SAC) because I saw what silence was doing to us. We don’t talk like we should. We scroll past each other. We misunderstand, we isolate, we judge, and we break all because real conversation has become rare.
I’ve been in locker rooms, classrooms, and communities where people looked strong on the outside but were falling apart inside. And I couldn’t ignore it. SAC is my response to that pain not just mine, but ours.
It’s not just about mental health. It’s not just about clothes. SAC is about building a culture where treating people right is normal. Where understanding and love aren’t rare values they’re expected. It’s about creating a world where we take the time to really see each other, where we assume the best in people, even when we don’t agree.
Because when we don’t talk, we disconnect. When we disconnect, we stop caring. And when we stop caring… we fall apart. That’s the spiral SAC was created to break.
This movement is about more than awareness it’s about restoration. It’s about rebuilding what our generation is losing: presence, empathy, and humanity. I believe we can create a culture that’s honest, compassionate, and deeply connected. One conversation at a time.
